What is “Children Today Leaders Tomorrow”?
The Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with founding sponsor Collins Machine Works, is proud to introduce a new initiative that we think will truly benefit the youth of our community. This program, “Children Today Leaders Tomorrow,” will provide a leadership program for boys ages 10-12 years old, from Chesapeake, VA. Each participant will be paired with specially trained Sheriff’s Deputies who have been carefully chosen and exhibit professionalism, leadership and community involvement.
The program involves leadership training from some of Chesapeake’s most successful citizens, as well as team building concepts, positive re-enforcement and structured activities centered on preparing these youths to meet the challenges of tomorrow, with the tools to make the right choices. Our attempt will be to instill these core community values in each of these young men.
Triple-R-Ranch
Triple-R-Ranch, located in rural Chesapeake will be the host of our event. “The Ranch” seeks to impact the lives of both youths and adults throughout the Mid-Atlantic region by the use of quality year round programs including:
